Join us for our first ever Pet Photo Contest! We want to feature you and your pet on a window decal inside of our shelter for an entire year! This is a wonderful way for you to showcase your pets for everyone to see!
Our Pet Photo Contest will open for photo submissions on October 1st. Each submission will be a donation of $20. There will be four different categories: Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and Pocket Pets. For a full list of rules or to submit your photo please go to https://www.gogophotocontest.com/fapl.
Submissions will close on October 31st and the voting period for our winning photos will begin on November 1st. Each vote will be a $1 donation! There will be three winners in each category, making for 12 total winners. There will also be an overall winner, who will additionally receive a free photo shoot from Megan MacLeod Photography.
The winners will be featured on an inside window decal in our shelter for an entire year, and then will get to take the window decal home after it has been displayed. In order for us to create the decals, the winners will be asked to come to the shelter for a photoshoot. The photos taken at the shelter will be the ones displayed.
Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $10,000 for our animals. Animal welfare is facing a national crisis, with more animals staying in shelters longer looking for their forever homes. In turn, shelters are full and are having to make tough decisions about the animals they house. The money raised through this fundraiser will allow for us to continue saving lives!
