Join us for our inaugural 5K race and 1 mile dog walk at Bur Oak Pavilion (6150 Ford Road, Elyria, Ohio 44035)! Don’t have a dog? No problem! Shelter dogs will be available to “borrow” for the 1 mile walk for a small donation.

- 1 mi – $20 thru April 1, then $25

- Top 3 in age category by gender: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Friendship APL is a private, independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit humane society founded in Elyria, Ohio in 1957. We own and operate the largest animal shelter in Lorain County.
Friendship APL receives no government funding. We depend on the generosity and financial support of friends and neighbors, and on various fundraisers, to serve the people and animals of Lorain County.
