Friendship APL is teaming up with local food trucks to help promote adoption! Join us every Thursday starting on June 27th and ending on August 29th, for Food Truck Thursdays! Each Thursday will feature two or three food trucks that have generously offered to provide food and hopefully foot traffic! Adoption hours on these Thursdays will also be extended to accomodate those who may want to adopt but can’t normally make it to our shelter in time!
Event Schedule:
- June 27th 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm) Food Trucks: Frios Gourmet Pops, Great Plains Bison Burgers, LLC, Pork Mac ‘n’ Moore
- July 11th 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm) Food Trucks: Get Baked N’ Loaded
- July 18th 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm) Food Trucks: Crush, Ice Cream Sandwhiches, Funky Pooch
- July 25th 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm) Food Trucks: Great Plains Bison Burgers, LLC
- August 1st 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm)
- August 8th 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm)
- August 15th 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm)
- August 22nd 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm)
- August 29th 4pm to 7pm (adoptions stopping at 6:30pm)
The goal of these weekly Thursday events, are to help get more people through our doors and more animals into homes! The more animals we can get adopted, the more we can save! Some of these food trucks have even generously opted to sponsor adoption fees or donate a portion of their proceeds back to the shelter! Please come on out and meet our wonderful animals and chow down on some amazing food! #UnleashTheFeast
