FAPL is a privately funded non-profit humane society.

Our members gather together out of concern for the pets in Lorain County and contribute time, money and talent to make Lorain County a better place for the animals. The government does not contribute to the cost of caring for the animals at Friendship APL. Our service is a gift from the members and volunteers to Lorain County.

She's got legs! Meet cute Cassie. This little girl is only a year old and waiting, like so many others for a new home. You can find her in cage A-30 at the shelter. Please don't make her wait too long.
Tinkerbelle will need a special home. This poor girl has not had it so easy. She was surrendered due to her owner being ill. She has trouble seeing. She really needs a home to attend to her needs. The last thing Tink needs is to be in a shelter...She needs a home NOW!
Meet Big Buddy Boy! He is the sweetest boy around. Buddy is a big teddy bear. He loves attention and getting out of his cage for visits. Buddy's adoption fee is only $45.00 and he's worth every penny. Click on his pic.
