The 7 Lucky Wags to Riches Cats

7 Lucky Cats

In honor of this year's Wags to Riches event, we've chosen our Lucky 7 Cats to spotlight for the month of February. These sweet kitties have all been waiting for a loving home for what seems like furever at our shelter.

Snickers

Snickers

Snickers is a real treat! He is 2 ½ years old and very loving. This adorable tabby came to be at the shelter because his family moved and couldn’t take him with them. He is extremely timid around children so a quiet home with only adults would be best for him. Snickers is one of the sweetest little kitties, but you will need to be patient while he adjusts to being in a real home again. He has been without one since April. which is way too long for this good boy to be cooped up in a cage!

Anabelle

Anabelle

Anabelle is such a joy to be around and has more love to give than you’ll know what to do with. She was brought to us as a stray, but as friendly and delightful as she is it’s more than likely she’s been a part of a home before. This sweetie pie has been waiting for her forever home since last May. So if you’re looking for an affectionate lap kitty to share your life, Anabelle is the one for you.

Gracie

Gracie

Gracie lost her home through no fault of her own… someone had allergies. It’s so sad because this senior girl had always been the only cat in her previous home and now she is surrounded by lots of noise and animals which is stressful for her. She is a lap cat that would be a good snuggler on these cold winter nights. Most of all, she really deserves to spend her twilight years in a nice, warm & cozy home and not in a cage.

Shadow

Shadow - Adopted

Shadow is an all around friendly boy that really craves attention. His previous family moved and couldn’t take him with them. While he was with them though he was kept in the garage most of the time which isn’t where he wants to live. This one year old is a super charming guy that loves kids and get along well with other cats. He is a very sociable lap cat that would be a great addition for a family that would like to spend time playing with him.

Isis

Isis - Adopted

Isis is a really nice girl that lost her home due to a house fire. Luckily she was saved and brought to the shelter because she had nowhere else to go. She is a six year old lap cat that is very good with children. However, because of the trauma she has been through she can be nervous around people she doesn’t know. She is very resilient though, so if you have the patience to let her adjust to a new home and family, she would be a great kitty to adopt.

Trisha

Trisha

Trisha was brought to the shelter because the people that found her had too many animals and couldn’t keep her. She is a beautiful tabby cat with a big personality. She can be shy when she first meets you, but with time and patience she lets her guard down and becomes her adorable self. Trisha needs a loving person to take her in and show her what a real furever home is like.

Muffin

Muffin - Adopted

Muffin is a really cute and playful 2 ½ year old tabby cat that couldn’t stay in her home because someone developed allergies. She is good with other cats and likes kids as well. She has also been around dogs in her previous home. She is quite the catch. This sweet girl has been waiting patiently for a family to call her own since June. If you have room in your home and heart for the purrfect kitty, Muffin would love to come home with you.

There are 2 of the 12 Cats of Christmas still awaiting loving homes, too!

Maxine

Maxine - Adopted

Maxine is not at all crabby like the comic strip character. This lovely dark gray and white Maxine is very pleasant and loves attention and affection from people! You may notice she is a little shy at first meeting, but don’t worry she warms up quickly. She’s been in a home before with other cats, but is not fond of dogs at all. At 6 years old, she longs for a quiet home where she can nap in the sun and watch the birds out the window.

Tasha

Tasha

Tasha lost her home in March through no fault of her own... someone had allergies. She is a really cute and friendly lap cat that likes kids and gets along well with other cats. Most days you can find her in the cattery playing with a toy or taking a nap on her favorite cushion, but what she’s really longing for is a home of her own with a family that will play with her. She may seem shy at first, but don’t be fooled, she’ll be your best buddy in no time!
